  1. Found a friend with a 3D printer and got the button made. I'll sand it smooth but already looks much better. Thanks again for the link!
  2. That's so oddly specific, its awesome. If I can find a printer to use I will actually do that. Thanks for the link!
  3. There is a youtuber who replaced the capacitor as part of his xbox restoration video here: <https://www.youtube.com/embed/LSS3U1pxTlc> He didn't provide a link to the cap in his video but it appears to be this one: Part # - EECS5R5V105 https://americas.rsdelivers.com/product/panasonic/eecs5r5v105/panasonic-1f-supercapacitor-edlc-20-80-tolerance/3396837?cm_mmc=US-PLA-DS3A-_-google-_-DA+|+Smart+Shopping-_-All+Products-_-PRODUCT_GROUP&matchtype=&pla-673461199350&gclid=EAIaIQobChMItK7Rkq_o5wIVwsDACh3jRA6CEAQYAyABEgIIPfD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds I haven't removed my xbox's cap yet, so I can't validate this one, but it is working in his video when he tests the system.
  4. Hey all, I was into the xbox modding scene back when it first started. Been out of it for a while but I recently brought my old system out of storage and started watching YouTube videos reminding me of the good ol days. I didn't realize that the OG modding scene was still alive so here I am to see what has changed since I left it. I have a green Halo xbox console, v1.4 if I remember right with an Xecuter 3 chip installed and matching green Xecuter pro switch on the front. The DVD drive band was changed to revive the drive tray movement and I removed the heat sinks and reapplied new thermal paste. Still need to remove the clock capacitor though it isn't leaking at the moment. If anyone happens to have a busted pro switch or know where to get one feel free to message me. Mine works fine but the button cap popped off at some point and its fugly. Would be willing to pay for that piece of plastic. Anyway, happy modding!
