  1. Thanks for taking a look. I was able to patch Colin Mcrae 3 to 480p using the dvd2xbox patch here: GITHUB I had seen a old review of Winback2 that referenced 480p support but the reviewer must have been mistaken. The dvd2xbox generic 480p patch didn't work for that one. There's a widescreen patch for the PS2 version so I'll probably go with that instead.
  2. Great list. Petite Copter may be the same game as Go Go Copter on PS2. Someone would have to play both to know for sure.
  3. Thanks, I didn't know any games on xbox were 480i only, so that explains CMR3 at least. However I've seen references to the xbox version of "Winback 2 Project Poseidon" and 480p on the internet, so I would have expected that one to work. Is there a way to force a game to start at 480p? I checked to see if its one of those ones that has problems with v1.6 xboxes and its not on the list. Anyway if it was, I would expect it to start with a garbled screen rather than start in 480i.
  4. Pal 1.6 xbox, switched to NTSC mode using enigma switcher, xecuter 2.6 chip, launching games via Xbmc. Component video cable. Games ftp'd to the hard drive, files extracted from redump isos. All other games, a mix of PAL and NTSC versions, launch in 480p. But Winback2 and Colin Mcrae 3 will only launch in 480i. Both are NTSC versions. I'm sure these both should work in 480p. Any ideas what the issue could be? Any suggestions appreciated.
  5. Used quix as you suggested. Used the same files made into an iso, then uploaded the iso. Now it all works fine. Thanks for the tip.
  6. No original disc unfortunately, I’m working with files extracted from redump iso. I’ll try making the files into an iso in quix then use that to do the transfer. Is Halo 2 known to be trouble to run from hdd?
  7. I've copied the files from the Halo 2 disc to my chipped xbox via ftp. When starting the game there's no menu text (as if the font is missing). Selecting menu options at random starts the intro movie, which runs for a bit then crashes. The files are verified extracted and copied ok. Lots of other games transferred exactly the same way are working fine. It is a v1.6 with an xecuter 2 chip. I tried to run the ACL from dvd2xbox on the installed folder, but that seemed to hang and hadn't completed after 10 hours. There isn't a specific acl for Halo 2 installed as far as I xcan tell, so it is running the default one. Any suggestions? Thanks
