Any of you consider it? I have a few Xboxes to play with and I'm really thinking of making one.

The original xbox All digital huh? You should give it a try if you have spare cases

I am not trying to discourage you.

Then dont comment saying that my method belongs to 1920 and that something else should be used. I gave a solution that DOES work and thats it. All you could do was to just suggest your way as an alternative. Being nice doesnt cost,it also earns you respect

A relay get with the times it's 2020 not 1920 I would you a PNP transistor over a relay.

Thanks for disencouraging me from trying to help here. All i wanted to do is give the simplest solution without complicated circuits. Also i dont think that your circuit lights the led's ON when the xbox is OFF and vice versa doesnt it?

  4. Forget about any scematic and built it on your own. Its VERY simple. Just take a + from a wire of the PSU that ALWAYS gives power(wich one depends on the PSU)connect it to a resistor for the LED,after the resistor go to one NC connection of a relay, then the other end of the NC relay goes to the anode of the LED and finally the cathode of the LED to ground. After that Connect the coil pins of the relay to the PSU but on wires that give power when the xbox is ON. That way, when you open up the xbox, the relay will power ON and open the circuit for the LED,switching it off. When you power off the xbox, the relay will power off and close the circuit, giving power to the LED

Wish you luck and a good day/night

I wanted to update the baldbouncer photo to be something clearer and so i made this. Can someone double check that my Pin 7 is correct and that Pin 4 is the proper one ( as per the previous commenters post).

On both my 1.1 systems, the pins 12 and 4 doesnt show continuity

  6. Try playing with the variable resistor located in front of the psu. This resistor changes all the voltages of the psu,so try playing until you get 11.5v on the yellow wires and if this still dont work, then you have to spent a whole day searching what is busted on the psu. Good luck

  7. You said you have a 1.6 xbox so here's what you ll do. You will cut the xbox's psu wires in half so that you have the plug in your hands. Next cut the pc psu wires near the plug(so that they are long enough to reach inside the xbox). Next connect the PC psu black wires to the XBOX psu plug black wires, then the PC psu red wires to the XBOX psu plug red and orange wires, then the PC psu yellow wires to the XBOX psu plug yellow wires and then the PC psu orange wires to the XBOX psu plug blue and white wires. Finally from the PC psu, take the green wire and a black wire and put a switch between them(when you turn ON the switch, the psu will power up)

TIP:When you want to power up the xbox, turn on the psu first, then press the power button on the xbox

Oh wow, I did some research and found out that’s actually a thing. I thought you were just making some kind of amusing mistype XD

What resolution are you using? 480p and up don’t work with flicker fucker.

If not it sounds like you either have a bad .xbe or your memory is just playing tricks on you.

480p and its the only game doing that. I dont believe its a hardware problem since this problem happens on all 4 of my xboxes

  9. Hello people. I have a weird problem here. In the last few days i noticed that Forza randomly freezes(3-10 minutes of gameplay),but if i play it with the default xbe not patched with flicker fucker, the game runs fine. This problem happens to all 4 of my xboxes. I remember that in the past i used to play it fine and i think that it was also flicker fucker patched. Any idea of what the problem would be? Thank you
