I'm glad to hear it you got it o kn your system, if I remember right, hitting the black button or the white button on the controler will give you the option to search by console.
-
Let me know when its unpacked and I will let you know what to do next.
-
I understand. I'm the same way. But I dont think I have ever seen one complete download.
-
I dont understand what OP is but here is the issue I am having. When I started xbox, I was always told that xboxhdm required an old computer running a special version of linux and it could only be done on old ide hard drives, not sata drives with converters. Now I hear there is a windows version. I still dont know if it needs an old computer and all the above mentioned specifics, plus because of the original mentioned conditions to make the program create a hdd from scratch is only 50%, that's why I used chimp loader. So what has changed over time to make xboxhdm a better program?
-
Ok you chose which version you want, and I can help you put it on your system. Download all the parts and unpack it and I will give you the next step. Is it possible you can explain xboxhdm to me, you seem to me more knowledgable on that program where as I know more about chimp loader.

I just checked it out, coinops ninja massive is 45gb where as coinops 8 massive is 88gb. Feel free to chose what ever you would like, but I would still stick with coinops 8 massive.
-
No, the last time I checked I got coinops 8 massive. I dont no what ninja is but generally if you want the most amount of games get am version that is labeled massive. There might be a coinops 9 out by now so if there us, get the coinops 9 massive.
-
It is going to take awhile, if you are downloading the correct version of coinops 8 massive, it should be roughly 88gb. It took me days to get my copy because it was broken up into 65 parts. Once it finishes, let me know and I will go on to the next step.
-
First what you need to do is google coinops 8 massive and you will find the official website. The download takes forever, so once it is started, sit back you are going to be there awhile.
-
It is not hard to do but it takes about 4 days to do so not only are you slowly transferring 88gb but your also stress testing your system. I can explain how to do it, if you would like.

If necessary, I have a version of the modding program that has the skins and all the important stuff. I can send you the file and you can reflash your xbox with it. I dont know if your dashboard has it but mine has dvd2xbox built in.
-
It's under the settings tab, and then misc. Tab, then skins.
-
I thought you got the skins working, because the skin you have now is not the default skin for me. Skins would be under misc.
-
That is exactly the version of dashboard and the theme I use and it works very well. I am glad you managed to get your system up and running.
-
Glad things are working for you and glad we can help.
-
I understand completely. IRS not made for that.

I haven't put a drive that big in mine, I just know it's possible. Then again you put the complete xbox original collection and the 90 emulators I have, you might fill a drive that size.
-
You want to know overkill, the xbox original runs on the xfat file system. That file system can be streached to the point where an xbox original can have a 3tb internal hard drive. 3tb makes your 500gb loom like nothing. 3tb is overkill x10.
-
Let's hope the drive last for awhile since the manufacture date on it says april 2009. That's a 10year old drive, in the technology world it might as well be 50 years old.
-
You will need to also go on YouTube and find a video that shows you exactly how to fold the cable so you can properly close the lid on the system.
-
Plus, you will get more life out of a new hard drive with an SATA to ide adaptor tha. An old 500gb ide hdd. Also you will need a long 80wire ide ribbon cable, I reccomend this one, I used this type for years. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F111758773275

Have fun with that, for me upgrading the hard drive was a real headache
-
No problem, I am glad we could help. Enjoy your newly molded system.

If this is a personal computer, I right click the program and an option 8s run as administer otherwise, you could do that sharing program you linked me to.
