This post provides me with a general understanding of the value of these parts. While I don't anticipate receiving $800 and $200 for these items, I do require an initial price point. I plan to begin with highly optimistic figures on the initial period and gradually decrease from that point onward.

Starting Minimum bid for the Control Panel: $900 USD + S&H

Notes:

As you can see in this thread, I am missing a couple cables, the solder guide and the header pins. I can give you header pins if you need them, but they aren't the originals. What you see is what you get. (Ignore the yellow cable). Shipping is from Vancouver Canada, I have instructions on this post as to calculate an upper bound for the shipping (it will probably be cheaper than that).

Thank you for your help with this. Ya, those small cables are gone. Like I said before, this has sat in a box for over a decade. I have no idea where any of those small cables are other than what's in that picture.

 

Also, I could be wrong, but I don't think I ever had that solder guide, and melting those header pins was the thing that scared me off - so I know they're gone.

You use the address "1172-4700 Kingsway Burnaby V5H 4M1" - that's not very close to me, but it'll give you a good idea of the price.

The package should be less than 15cm*15cm*45cm and less than 1.5kg, so you can use that as an upper bound for pricing. I'll get exact sizing and weight before posting the auction.

X3 chips are always desirable.

Nope, that's the original shipping box it came in. I'm in a suburb of Vancouver, Canada.

Hello,

I have a transparent blue faceplate that I never installed on an xbox and was wondering if it was still worth anything, or if the market is no longer there.

I was thinking about putting it on eBay soon, but I don't know anything about what to list it as or even if it's still worth my time to do.

 

Backstory - My mom bought me a team xecuter chip and face plate over a decade ago, I tried to solder the header pins onto the jtag and melted the plastic on them. I freaked out because I worried that ruined something expensive (I was a dumb kid) and just stored everything. A couple years ago I made a computer case out of the XBOX case and found it in my xbox stuff. I looked it up and found it was desirable. Since then, my life has been one crazy thing after another; 2 jobs, moving, kid, covid, and I just haven't been able to carve out time to sell it.
