The first thing to my knowledge is you need to validate which revision of board you have and make sure that you are aware of which one you have thoroughly. once you've located the TSOP you need to figure out who the manufacturer is That will set you in the direction you need to go from there

help Who has real experience flashing an LG GDR 8163?
Tartarus replied to ILK_Fraiser's topic in Hardware Mods
so the overall goal if possible is to go between something with Windows 98 to XP reason for this is because the compatibility for the IDE capability my plan is just to set up the free dos usb drive and see if I can get this to work I got the stuff ordered we'll see what happens either way I think I'm going to have fun even if I have a tremendous failure I missed out when Xbox was at its peak Mod Time -

yes and I feel like it would be a specially in your area I could be wrong I feel like they would just have one of those shops where they have old parts especially over there in California where they're real big on Recycling and reusing I mean it's not like you're going to take PC remains and turn those into a pair of f****** Moses sandals I'm sure you'll find something around there and it'll give you something to do and share your findings -

yeah that's actually what I was targeting was an older Dell with IDE HAHA! back in 2000 I was playing Diablo 1 on a Dell clamshell case or scissor case I've heard it called both getting the pants scared off me drinking too much soda staying up late.. you might laugh at that now but as a kid that was actually kind of freaky to be underground with the weird sounds demonic s*** running around trying to kill you cool sounds like I'm on the right track thank you -

Tartarus replied to Tartarus's topic in General Xbox Discussion
When I get a little bit more time I need to get into it and see if it needs to be cleaned has four fans on the back of it at the top this is the first plasma TV I've ever owned so my knowledge to them is limited are these things known for having capacitor issues or did you just replace them simply because of age?- 120 replies

slightly off topic but I've always had this idea of introducing a Magic Eye to ax xbox haha I lack the skill I don't know what its purpose would be but it would be really neat to see that introduced I think
