this is the only copy of the bios i could get from the xbox. i had to use the live hexen CD to get a ftp connection i have copied c/backups + e/backups twice, once from the channel 2 boot and once from the channel 1 boot i hope you can use them and i have done this correctly https://ufile.io/b62jzu8j

I have on the NEW USB SP-PAL 21585554 5553000c are they the correct files for the softmod NEW USB?

P.S i don’t have Windows originally used win7 and Xplorer360 i do have a HEXEN CD

Greetings and Salutations I CANT FIND THE ORIGINAL LINUX SAVE ON MY HD ... dose anyone know where it is? i have a soft modded XBox that i modded with the old SplinterCell and USB hack. I wanted to copy the original softmod hack files to a new USB, because I originally used an old MP3 player and formatting it with XFAT and wiping the OS has shortened its life. I have a New USB. I have copied the SP_save (and also quite a few little extra files I would like to keep) SO I thought to myself if I could swap and re-swap the 2 USB’s and move SID to the HD once more and then back to the NEW USB BUT the XBox says [save game already exists do you want to replace?] i’m pretty sure I don’t want to touch the original save ! dose anyone know where it is?

I have a rocky5 XBMC and splinter cell XBOX. I have used the built in CHIMP to clone the drive. I will have a look at XBP and follow your advice thanks

Good afternoon all my 1 tb hard drive is dying. Sometimes it will glitch bad at the startup bios screen or delete save games and personal creative tracks I have created i got another 1 tb hard drive a 1TB WESTERN DIGITAL WD1002FBYS WD ENTERPRISE 3.5" SATA Hard Disk Drive that I want to replace the eagate BarraCuda 1TB Internal Hard Drive HDD – 3.5 sata i use chimp to clone the drive (byte for byte) F:// occupies all available space but after 1 hour it’s finished and the new drive has nothing on f:// also it’s confusing because it looks like it is copying the old soft mod across not the hard mod. so the hard mod had really bad issues going from one live dash as an XBE to another live dash XBE (ie) XBMC4GAMERS to Avalaunch. So I removed the extra dashes ........ but on the new hard drive there still not deleted ¿ I was using Xecuter2 bios but in the application XPartitioner it said something about [your bios not support f] I’m using IND BIOS ***3 (F:// only) now from HEXEN2020

Because capacitors blow up? I would have to get a like for like capacitor (something I know nothing about) and my soldering skills are really really bad! like I said it will be kept for spares and maybe in the future completed as a whole unit

Thank you for all the help. I took the main board out because I decided to ModChip it instead i think she’s going to die anyway as I’ve just noticed 3 capacitors are crowning This Xbox will be added to the stack of many things I have to be fixed until the unseen future

Please help I cannot flash this XBOX I have tinted both point but when I try to flash with HEXEN2020 it says MODCHIP NOT SUPPORTED i have tried to test it by flashing a non windbond/sharp option and it says that the chip is flashable I have very little equipment so using the HEXEN CD is my only option at this point

Is there a way I can setup channel 1 to load XBMC4GAMERS ? when I try DVD2XBOX and place in HDDLoader it copies over but dose not show as all the games are PXGAME1 , PXGAME2 ,PXGAME3 , and the GAMES-LIST.txt at bottom. I really don’t understand editing the EvolutionX skin and dash

I have found the Files on f:// but had to be in XBMC-media-center to actually see them. There in a folder called HDDLoader. The modchip has 3 switches [power] [protect] [channels] on+on+1 ModChip E & C (xecuter rox my box) on+on+2 (xecuter2 bios) turn ModChip off it no longer boots properly. You have two attempts that turn off Xbox after 2 seconds each then it turns back on green light black screen no sound. there is an application called HDDLoader that you can open to play all the games properly (exiting a game exits HDDLoader) i have tried to install XBMC4GAMERS on f:// but when I try to set that as my main dash I get error 21. I can fix this with HEXEN2021 CD and go back to evolutionX as main dash when I try to add more games with DVD2XBOX it only shows the C & E locations and obviously the 1 gig of space there. XCommander R2 G: only shows C:/ & E:/ can someone please explain what the ORIGINAL modder has done?

Sorry for the confusion. I moved the CHIMP files with a formatted usb over to the Xbox hard drive . Removing the usb and then running CHIMP from the Xbox itself.

I do totally understand your answer and have also considered this option, but I have a Linux Laptop. Wine is the Windows to Linux translator but it doesn’t understand Fatxplorer or Xplorer360 as you can’t mount FATX unless you can read write from that drive previously

I use Filza like any other Xbox I have logged into before but Connection fails after slotted time. I think they may have changed the login password as the user is still XBOX

good greetings all i was given a version 1.0 XBox with a Xecuter 2.6 ModChip it has a controller underneath so you can boot either original XBox dash or the EvolutionX (probably like a partition thing) I couldn’t get FTP to work so used a memory card slot to get CHIMP to clone the drive BUT none of the games or applications carry over to the new dive? there is 70 OG XBOX games and like every available skin ever made for EvolutionX but there not on the new 500gig Western Digital? The settings and skin have copied but none of the files. I don’t want to keep writing again/again to the drive as it was not brand new when I got it i am slightly above n00b level but am comfortable in any instructions you give me file system looks normal in explorer C:// D:// Empty E:// F:// G:// S:// Q://

I was given a broken Xbox version 1.0 and I want to take that mod chip and put in in my 1.3 . the chip is explained in more detail in this post I’ve found on the forum It was previously installed SOLDERLESS with a spring pin head system you just line up and screw down. When I took it out of the Xbox I noticed a random wire that was stabbed into the board? dose anyone know if this has a purpose or if it’s a necessity ? many thanks in advance

thank you for your help after editing the bios i have a clean boot i noticed the file (- THIS IS NOT FOR SOFTMODDED XBOXES! ) so i just edited the bios config. if i press the power button i get normal boot. if i hold the eject button on boot i get the words XBOX in green before the XBMC-EMUSTATION dash. i tried all the different dash's you provided , but it seems that the actual MS-DASH is broken (or boots to ERROR 21) best case scenario i would love the IND-BIO's flubber ;CUSTOMBLOB=\Device\Harddisk0\Partition2\Ind-Bios\Test\flubber.x i have made a crappy MPEG with 240 pixel but not the same intro
