N64 Freak, I don't know the feasibility of this idea, but you could possibly see if there's a company or some entity that you can hire to mass produce your HDMI mod. This is a common practice, and it looks like there are more than enough (myself included) that would be interested in purchasing one. That way you're not using all of your free time to sit and make them yourself.

I would also re-paste any components that used it. I know the thermal paste on my gaming laptop doesn't last more than a year or so before it dries out and I start to see temperatures rise. That's the first place where a heat transfer occurs, and the biggest fan in the world won't do much good if the paste is garbage...and it probably is after nearly two decades.
