Hello I am having issues with Emustation Snes9xbox by Mednefen NES/SNES error with loading ROMs. I have done the folllowing: downloaded emustation zip file -> extracted the folder on Windows 11 -> it has XBMC-Emustation folder inside an XBMC-Emustation folder -> I extracted the internal folder and FTP it to my OG Xbox -> installed the emulators including NES and SNES -> placed ROMs inside relevant folders for each system -> choose rom to boot from Emustation console system-> NES goes to emulator menu then when I select a game it fails everytime with permissions error and SNES just a blank screen - all others working including SEGACD Error message is permissions error. also tried: downloaded emustation zip file-> FTP it to my OG Xbox -> unzipped as is -> installed the emulators including NES and SNES -> placed ROMs inside relevant folders for each system -> choose rom to boot from Emustation console system-> NES goes to emulator menu then when I select a game it fails everytime with permissions error and SNES just a blank screen Have I missed a step or done something I should not have? Specs: OG XBOX v1.6 Video encoder: XCalibur NTSC ACER LCD Softmodded with Rocky5 UnleashX Dash latest XBMC-Emustation (compiled Jul27 2024)

Hello there! So I have tried various versions of Snes9, the art downloader (also manually inserting), trial and error image file inserting and deleting, etc. I cannot for the life of me get a nice background image to popup only on SNES9XBOX. All other emulators have nice backgrounds. I have enabled recourses, taken that off, refreshed a dozen times, rebooted. Any help would be awesome, thanks in advance.

I have SNES9Xbox, and I want to play some 4 player Bomberman and NBA Jam, but players 3 and 4 don't seem to work. Is there a setting in SNES9Xbox (I use version vb6.153) to enable multitap support? Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Hi Guys. I have a couple of questions about two emulators; XBoyAdvance and SNES9XBox. SNES9XBox v6b08 - An icon for the emulator does not appear in the Unleashx dash like it does with the other xport emulators I have installed. How can I add an icon for this emulator to appear in the Unleashx dash? XBOYAdvance v24b7 - As I understand it, this emulator can run Gameboy, Gameboy Color and Gameboy Advance games. I have installed the extras pack for Gameboy games, art and videos etc. I was about to add Gameboy Color games when I noticed that there are some duplicate games for these two systems. I was planning on putting the Gameboy Color and Gameboy Advance games in different directories than Gameboy games so there shouldn't be an issue there. My question has to do with the box art, cart art and videos. How do I ensure that media for gameboy games wont be overwritten by Gameboy Color and Gameboy Advance games if I put the media for box art ect in the same directories? For example, there is a version of the game Battleship for both the Gameboy and Gameboy Color. If I add the art files for Gameboy Color version of the game in the same folder as the Gameboy version, it will overwrite it. How do you use this one emulator for all three types of games (Gameboy, Gameboy color and Gameboy Advance) if there are some games duplicated among these systems?
