  1. I have downloaded an emulator or two from XBMC4gamers downloader. Where do you get the skins and artwork?
  2. And I don’t see a bios folder
  3. Where do you get the BIOS? And how do you add them?
  4. Is there a way, to copy files from one Xbox to another, without the need to FTP? Seems to me like I’ve done it in XBMC before, bu I don’t remember.
  5. This is only my second TSOP. I had already done the second one, before I read on this forum, that you don’t need to softmod fiirst. I may try flashing from the game save exploit next time. I’d like to see a complete tutorial on how to do that. But I don’t really mind doing the softmod first, since I have no plan to use the original drive after. For these two, I soldered the board first, then softmodded, then TSOP and unlocked the hdd, then the plan is fresh install to a large, new hdd. Right just most interested in what gives the cleanest, fresh install, on a new hdd, after a TSOP. I got annoyed with the HeXEn 2018 install leaving a bit of stuff. TruHeXEn took most of it, but there’s still hexins. To me, a perfect install would be one that leaves nothing but maybe UnleashX or EvoX, so whichever I choose would eventually become my backup dash. I have always liked XBMC in one form or the other. I also prefer choosing which Apps to install.
  6. Thank you guys. TruHeXEn got rid of just about all the left behind HeXEn junk. I’m going to be doing another fresh install on a v1.0 TSOP. I’d like to hear your opinions on which is better for a “clean” fresh install, TruHeXEn or Slayers, or maybe you know something better.
  7. So now that I have it working, maybe I caused this by shutting off while XBMC was writing, as mentioned earlier in the thread. Is there anything different about ending games or shutting off as compared to other dashboards? I still soft boot after Xbox games, right? I have been using return to launcher on emulators and homebrew when I see it. I shutdown from the controls in xbmc.
  8. Unfortunately I don’t have a copy. I’ll have to look for it. Thanks
  9. Bump. no one knows what HeXEn files aren’t necessary? or where I can still find Slayers
  10. I got it working again. I ended up renaming the XBMC4gamers directory, the ftp-ing a whole new copy in. After that I deleted the original copy. The XBMC4gamers\system directory won’t delete though.
  11. No, I I flashed the bios after changing dashboards. It didn’t seem to matter. The FTP problems were only the first time after changing bios. And now, when I try the one directory in XBMC4gamers as I mention in the other thread. But it’s only that directory.
  12. It is installed on E. I really want to get it running again, as long as I don’t have to wipe the drive and start completely over. I have a ton of stuff on there so far.
  13. it was a brand new drive. I had made XBMC4gamers the default dash, but I'm now booting to UnleashX temporarily. I'll have to look at whats left on E. That's where they say to put XBMC4gamers. I did move all the Apps out of E, in case space was becoming an issue. What's odd is it's only the \XBMC4gamers and \XBMC4gamers\system directories that it won't let me do anything with
  14. https://pastebin.com/ikBL23F8
  15. The directory listing looked normal other than, like I said, the XBMC4gamers\system directory was empty, and won’t let me do anything with it. Do I need to join this site, to do this:
  16. Thanks naits. But That doesnt help much. I can FTP in, I just don't know how get it going again.. I am running it on a TSOP v1.0, which already had the softmod files removed.
  17. I'm still stumped. I even went into File Manager on UnleashX and tried moving the XBMC4gamers folder from E to F, thinking I would replace it with a new copy. The directory \XBMC4gamers\System cannont be moved, it can be copied, I managed to rename it and create a new one with the correct contents. But it still won't delete or move. So I'm completely lost on how to get it running again. I've temporarily switched back to booting to UnleashX, but I really loved XBMC4gamers, and want it back.... It appears to be more than just that file that corrupted somehow because that \XBMC4gamers\system\ directory was empty. And my FTP problems were just while trying to access/write to that directory. Any help is greatly appreciated.
  18. When I made the new \system directory, I had to rename the old one. And it won’t let me delete that one. Somehow it’s as though that still the directory it’s looking at.
  19. I just created a new \XBMC4gamers\system directory and I was able to ftp the contents to it. But I still get the same screen. should I try deleting XBMC4gamers, and starting over? If I do that, will I need to reinstall the artwork?
  20. This is what I get, see pic
  21. I’ve tried fro that screen. I’ve tried while running UnleashX, and I’ve tried while booted fromHeXEn
  22. I can’t seem to ftp them in can I burn them to disc and copy them in from file manager in UnleahX?
  23. What folder do I place it in? The folder I find it in in the install files, is empty on the Xbox, and it doesn’t want to take the files there by ftp. It says 550 file name invalid
  24. My default dash is XBMC4GAMERS. Out of the blue. I boot up my Xbox and I get XBMC Fatal Error: special://master profile/guisettings.xml, Line 0 Failed to open file Help? What do I do?
