No I been told that on other forums  Sandisk Cruzer Blade 4GB is way to go

but these are impossible to find

and if you can find them the shipping charges are outrageous

or they're coming from China and will take too long to get here

I'm about ready to just sell the Xbox and say the hell with it

I can run these games on an emulator just fine

 Well I sent a message to the person I bought it on eBay

Told him I was having problems and  he's returning  my 15 bucks 6 Dollars + Shipping 

So I got the cable for free

Right now everything's on hold until next Friday when I get paid

I've looked at the list of flash drives that will work

And most of them are so hard to find now it's very discouraging

There are specific settings you have to use with drivedroid to get it to work.

The PC saw it's fine but the Xbox no

Most of drives do nothing when I plug it in  

But cheep ones give me a error .

I've tried 2 generic flash drive USB 2 neither works

I've tried a Kingston data traveler and corsair  Slider 

also tired drivedroid

no luck maybe the cable is bad

Okay I got my USB adapter for my Xbox

Whatever USB drive I've got is not recognized even after I format it

I am using the newest version of USB FATX Formatter

even ask the X box to format it they don't work

Hello everyone,

My name is Thomas I bought a 1.4 Xbox from a thrift store about 2 weeks ago

No cables no nothing I managed to find the power cable in a lot of cables I had in my shed

But I ended up buying the component cable and a few games 

I didn't know whether the Xbox would even turn on at this point

Luckily for me it did  

today I did my first Mod. I removed the clock capacitor

 

Tomorrow I will do a softmod using the Rocky 5 method  with the MechAssault  CD

I've already gathered everything and install the Payload to USB Drive

just waiting for the USB cable to come in the mail Tomorow

 

September I'm hoping to do a hard drive swap installing a 500gb SSD

Looking forward to learning from everyone

And thanks for the advice in advance
