Hello! I know this is an old thread however I just upgraded my hard drive to a 2TB Barracuda and my console started giving me error code 11 on start up with the new drive but not the old one. I got to thinking that the problem might be that the hard drive wasn't playing nice with the particular Samsung disk drive so I pulled the Thompson disk drive out of another Xbox I have (that I need to fix because it doesn't output video at the moment) and what do you know, it fixed the error immediately! Hopefully this helps someone!
