  1. I haven't used it before... But if I remember correctly... isn't than an option to select 1.6? did you do that?
  2. No. Not needed. These little guys take care of it and just have a tiny switch next to usb port
  3. Awesome. Great to hear! There is a programming board that you select which chip you want to program
  4. THANK YOU!!!!!!!! saved me a bunch of time!
  5. Thank you! I found the first link. I think Stellar requires 5838. I’ll try xbins. Thank you again
  6. Thank you all. I did mean Bios. I’ll do a search…. I did a quick search… but due to copyright… failed. And didn’t know about trustworthiness…. I’ll do another search. Thanks again
  7. Or if there is a better solution? I have a virgin Xbox. 1.6.
  8. Any help with the title? I just want to dump my bios… not really soft mod. Is this possible? Just run it.. grab my bios… and undo everything it did?
  9. the OGX360i's are DONE!!!! (most likely never again!). going to take a break and will try to get all the documentation up on my git next week. A lot of blood, sweat, and tears went into this! But, I got lots of information out of it and after I post, many more should be able to make these a lot easier than with the current information posted online. I'll post an update when it's online.
  10. Thank you! I ended up finding it about 2 am lol. I just wanted to research it. No need for you to contact anyone. Thank you again
  11. Do you have a link to the xenium you modeled? I’ve seen it before… but cannot seem to find it
  12. Spacing inside to too large and pins on chip too short so one side can make contact… other side falls through pins spacing is just over 12 mm (barely) and tip to tip pin spacing on atmega is 12mmx12mm.
  13. Best to take some pics so we can see board
  14. Looked into it…. And numbers match! So I guess the socket wasn’t built correctly.
  15. Built it. Failed . The socket is too large. I need to get a smaller socket… thought I measured before ordering. Either I didn’t or it was advertised wrong. . More to follow eventually lol
  16. Are you sure the chip is sitting on the correct pins? (Alignment)
  17. Boards arrived. Sockets fit!!! No footprint existed (that I could find), so I used calipers and yolo’ed I’ll get a board made up in the next couple of days and test it out.
  18. Thank you. They were a PITA
  19. All wires are crimped for main harnesses
  20. Sold out. Thank you all
  21. Success! All the boards are working What a relief. Just have to get the rest of the harnesses complete and ship them to the buyer! I did find one wiring issue (had a 50/50 chance of getting it right... and of course I didn't). After making that change, everything is working! After I get these out the door, I'll fork the Github and update it with my findings. I'll make a BOM, wire harness guidelines/schematic, etc. Once it's up, I'll post here... probably at least a month out.
  22. One main wire harness complete. Need to make 2 controller port patch harnesses then I can fully test. Maybe tomorrow
  23. Did you ever check the pins. Looks like same adapter I used and I bet the pins are off
