  1. By the way I had been using the original composite RCA cable while waiting for the Bitfunx adapter to arrive, and aside from the shitty picture and being notably brighter than the Bitfunx, it didn't give my any purple or green hues.
  2. Hello everyone! I've recently softmodded my PAL Xbox using Rocky5's softmodding tool and I've set it up on my Samsung TV via HDMI using the Bitfunx adapter (I've enabled NTSC video mode and 480p and 720p resolutions). I know it's a crappy adapter but I'm 1600+ on the Chimeric Systems waiting list, so for the price I thought it was okay. And to be fair once my eyes got accustomed to the dark picture of the Bitfunx I thought I could get used to it... That is when it works. The problem is the purple/green hue sometimes changes randomly whenever I boot the system, launch a different dashboard (I'm using xbmc4gamers and emustation and unleash for FTP) or return to the dashboard after exiting a game. The hue can range from very dark purple, to lighter purple or light green, specially noticeable on black and gray things in the dashboard (I haven't noticed that problem when running games yet, but I should probably test it further) I've tried with different HDMI cables, cheap and a bit more expensive, new and used and they all give me the same problem. I'm not entirely sure that the problem is the adapter, because sometimes what triggers the problem is just restarting the dashboard. It could also be the system itself, but I couldn't find anyone who's had the same experience on the Internet. I'm wondering if someone has had a similar experience, because if I find out the adapter is not the problem I will not upgrade to the Chimeric Systems to still have the same annoying problem, obviously.
  3. That makes sense! I've manually erased the xbmc folder and reinstalled it from zero and that solved most of the issues, but the moment I resume the screensaver it's still very unstable and even if it doesn't crash the menu background disappears. I'll try that, thank you very much!
  4. Hello everyone! I'm new here and english is not my first language so please bare with me. So I was customizing xbmc4gamers on my recently softmodded Xbox, specifically I was adding a couple of sources to my root because I wanted a "dashboards" folder to access them right away. I created a folder with MSDash and Unleashed and a third dash I didn't know what it was, but it contained the file "xonlinedash.xbe". Then I tested if the paths worked and they did, except when I tried that last one it appeared an error in green letters saying there was something wrong with my xbox, so I just shut it down and restart again and everything seemed fine. But since then every time I leave my xbmc4gamers unattended for like 15 minutes it crashes and I get a black screen, interrupting the ftp connection. I tried updating again through the downloader but I got a URL script error and now everytime I try to download something it just freezes the screen. Also when I resume the slideshow screensaver by pressing a button it freezes. Since it only crashed with xbmc4gamers (unleash works fine) I've reinstalled it manually (overwriting the files via ftp), it remembered all of my media and most of my settings, only had to create a new profile. That got rid of the url downloading problem. Now I can use the downloader again, but it didn't solve the crashing problem. Should I erase the whole xbmc4gamers folder and FTP just the new one? The first time I reinstalled it I simply overwrote the folder, leaving some files from the previous installation. I don't have the knowledge required to make any sense of the log file but I attach it here in case someone can help me (it's from before reinstalling xbmc4gamers). xbmc.log
