Hello, I'm looking to Recover a bad Tsop Flash on a 1.4 board. I have an Aladdin XT on the way which will be my 3rd chip install. Been looking around and have a few questions. First, I understand being able to disconnect the D0 wire once booted with the chip would give me the option to tsop using Xblastos. My question comes from something else I'm looking into Eeprom recovery using a raspberry Pi, It accesses the I2C connection and pulls the Eeprom. Could I use the Pi and an LPC pinheader to reflash the original bios via tsop in a similar method?

Hello I'm looking for a nice collection of Final Fantasy 7 Skins, I'm currently converting all of the soundtrack to WMA for playback on Random. I have some skins but they're ugly. Does anyone have any that show a little bit of system info or are eye candy? Or could you help me in creating them since I can't get UX Architect working due to a few reasons ( I gave up ) I'd rather not edit the XML but if I do have to and someone has an example I could study that'd work too. Looking to create some skins for Unleashed X. I've download UX Architect, I've also downloaded UnleashX_Toolbox_A5 which I think are the same thing. I cannot get it to run, Windows 10 Says it needs Net Framework 1.1.4332 and Windows XP in VMWare says the same thing. Windows 10 Will install the framework but no change, Windows XP will not. Acquiring 7 at the moment Could anyone help me on this? I'll figure the software out but struggling with getting it running. Any Alternatives/Methods? I can write the XML File instead right?

So i've bought a nice chip called a Jafar, a Rebuild of the Aladdin. It has 3 Banks. 1 512k, 1 256k and 1 256k with Xblast ( Autoboots ) Fitted this and it all works a charm, Now i'm thinking I might also Tsop it. Its a 1.4 Board. Could I simply solder the tsop points on the 1.4 board, Boot the chip into Xblastos which gives the option to flash the Tsop as well as the other 2 banks and flash it? Or would I need to look at removing some of the Chip? Maybe the g0 gound?

Hello I'm looking at doing my first case mod and really need to get an understanding of what i'm working with. Looking at some 5mm Blue LED's from ebay, Specs Not sure if I am working this out correctly so would these work with eachother? Many thanks in advance

That'll work great, I've just fitted my first Aladdin chip as practice for the Jafar. It was a pain as I go no signal at times with Flashing Red. Re-seating the Aladdin seemed to sort it, it was getting the rest of the parts in without catching it. 3 Attempts at soldering finally got it i'll make sure my next solder session of an LPC bridge ( what else to call the 12 pin thingy ) is better. I think the Jafar has to be in at least a Crystal Xbox just because it cost me roughly £25 and has 2 nice Banks in it with XBlastOs to re-flash at whim. All in prep to get ready for fitting ram.

Interesting, thank you for the replies. It will be something to Digest as I have an Aladdin Chip and a Jafar Chip so might try some over clocking on the Jafar When you mention bricking it, This Jafar chip i'm getting has a 512 and 256 bank and an additional Xblast Bank which boots everytime. Could I flash an overclocked bios to that chip, if it fails re flash the bios with a normal one? Seems to make sense or would it destroy the actual bank itself?

Thats a Very nice list of Bios on that CD. I'll burn it a little later got the weekend to play with it, Is it bootable on the xbox like Hexen? So just as above if I flash this iND5003.67 ( from your link ) as this is the patched one? If I flash this on my 1.1 my HDD and its current setup will remain?

I have a 1.1 Xbox with a tsop. I've done a few and normally stick to Evo, Xecuter or Ind BIOS but the 256k versions I'm looking to flash my 1.1 with a 1bmb bios and have 2 questions. Which should I use from the list below? Once Flashed, Will my Xbox boot as it normally would onto the dashboard with the full 2tb HDD or am I likely to encounter issues? This is from Hexen2020 I'll be using XblastOS to flash the bios

This is the exact one I have. Thing is the 2tb works just fine with it. It's the smaller HDDs I'm struggling with 3.5 or 2.5. I've tried 40gb up to 750 all with the same. I have an update, I got a different ide cable from my dad. Still a 40wire but it worked flawlessly on the 1.4 board but the 1.0 still a no. Same cable both adapters

All Xbox's I mention are Tsop'd 1.0,1.1& 1.4 .I'm receiving the errors above, this is only with the sata HDD and a convertor I got off ebay. I have one in another tsop xbox and it runs fine So I have 3 convertors, all are the same and 1 runs just fine. The other 2 give the error codes above. The one working is using the original Xbox's IDE Cable with a slow 5400rpm 2tb Drive. Works flawlessly The other 2 Tsop xboxs ( 1.0 & 1.4 ) do not want to accept the Sata Drives, Their original Stock HDD with UNleashX Dahboard works fine on both. All drives are set to unlocked the 1.4 runs EvoM8+ The 1.0 Run x2 5035? Think thats right. - Same as the 1.1 that works. I've read this could be an issue with the Sata Adaptor, IDE Cable only being 40wire, Drives or Both. Its worth mentioning I've tried a few different hdd's with the same issue on all Sata's. I can get Hexen2020 to boot on both but Hexen also struggles to read the drives. On the 1.4 I backup the Eeprom to the HDD and it will boot but to the Xbox Dash and as soon as I try with the UnleashX Dash I get the errors again. I am close to ordering an 80wire ide cable to try see if this resolves it, Failing that The more expensive adaptor for IDE made by Star tech which i'd wished to avoid. 1 more thing, the IDE to Sata Adaptors being set to Master gives the error. Without the Pin in cable select does nothing but freeze on the Blob Screen Slave mode causes it to freeze also. Any advise is really appreciated.

So... Converting Video's for use in Coinops. I've learnt how to get the games across and the actual videos but my problem is. When i convert to WMV2 in Any Video Convertor Ultimate and disable audio the WMV2XMV fails to convert the track. When I leave the audio on it converts fine, Normally this isnt a problem but for this I would like them silent. Any ideas?

Thanks for the Input, I've decided i'm doing a 1.3 or 1.4 Borad. Not sure which it is but going to Tsop that one and maybe another 2 before i start messing with the Chips. I'll have a better look nearer the time

The "easier" part entices me. I've heard the Aladdin are a great chip but also read about the LPC you need to rebuild on 1.6b Does this one avoid that? I'll have to look at some guides before I choose one and find the one best suited for me. I do like specs though so waste is alright in my eyes. Hmm EvoxM8Plus would be fine Hexen comes with that if i remember rightly? As above the LPC rebuild frightens me a little but i'd rather have the best chip without going OTT

I Tsop'd and de clock capped a 1.1 Last night after realizing I can't do my other Xbox because its 1.6b? Literally the last batch of Xbox's Produced must be with its Manufacter date 16/08/2005 Ideally I'd like to have this hard modded rather that just Soft because my eyes have been opened. I'm looking for a reputable place to buy a Chip at a decent price and which chip would be the best? I could buy the Aladdin Chip now from here http://www.modchipcentral.com/store/home.php?cat=273 Will this work with the above 1.6b xbox? Edit: Noticed this is an American store and might not deliver to the UK

My Names Kaan, I am a modding enthuiast and have modded things from Xbox's to Ps3, Psp's, Wii's. Really enjoy doing it. Last night I successfully Tsop'd my first OG 1.1 Xbox, Flashed it with Xecutor 2 Bios using x2.5035.bin file with Xblast OS. Upgraded the Hardrive to a 2tb and am in the Process of transfering the Entire library excluding Sports and Maybe Disney games. Transfering Coinops and Ninja Massive ( not sure if both are really needed ) Wondering if there's anything thats a must I can stick on this thing apart from what i've mentioned. Maybe some useful tools?
