[[Solved] Attempting Installation of New Hard Drive, Running Into Problem]

Upon bootup my xbox goes as far as to displaying the XBOX screen and then freezes there, if I try to eject the tray the screen goes blank and flashes for a moment before bringing back up the XBOX screen. I've received no error and have yet to put in a recovery disc

All I did was ebay replacements for my original xbox dvd belts, got a pack of 3 pretty cheap. Mine was a hitachi, but from what i've seen all seem relatively similar? Though if you don't want to buy a replacement, Take Corona's advice and boil it, it'll shrink it after a while!

Wondering if it's possible to build/buy a third party control board for games like steel battalion? The game has interested me for a while, though I'd like to play it as close to as intended as possible.

When it comes to component to HDMI adapters I've seen a few people say there will be a noticeable loss in quality, however does this apply to modding an hdmi port onto the board and is it even worth it to do it?

If you mean the small belts, I found replacements for mine off of ebay when I searched up replacements for original xbox disc drive. Mine was a hitachi as well

What should I do now? I got a copy of truehexen 2019 and Hexen 2018 here, trying to figure out what I should do from here to make it look nicer and get the most out of this. The chip I used is an Aladdin XT+4032
