  1. Looks like I was missing xboxdashdata.185ead00 Not sure why I didn't copy this over from the other xbox, but all sorted now. Thanks very much I'll play for a bit then consider if I want to try making it NTSC and try to get some HD out of it, but from what I see that's a bit more involved. Thanks for the help
  2. Thanks, I'll give that a try today. If that doesn't work, I guess I could just swap out the hard drive for the one where the ms dash works and change the setting then swap back? I'm pretty sure it does, the exact situation I have is 3 player split screen. In 4:3 mode the first player gets the top half of the screen, and the other two share the bottom. In 16:9 mode the first player gets the left half of the screen and the other two share the right half.
  3. Hi Due to the current lockdown I decided to dig out my old xbox. I used to be quite into xboxes and modding etc but it has been a long time. I'm trying to switch my xbox from 4:3 to 16:9 It took me a while to remember that this needs to be done in the original xbox dashboard. (xboxdash.xbe) I have one xbox which I believe is chipped with an xecutor modchip (I get the xecutor config live is loading) screen when booting. I'm not sure of the history of this one, might be one someone gave me a few years back. Anyway, on the C drive it doesn't have the original xboxsash.xbe etc on it. I've tried copying the contents of the C drive from another xbox which does allow me to get into xboxdash.xbe However, this just gives me the error 21 screen. Any ideas how I can get xboxdash.xbe working? Or even better just how to switch to 16:9 mode Where is this setting stored? on the drive or in the bios somewhere? The main thing I'm trying to do is to get Halo 2 split screen to recognise that it should be in wide screen so that split screen works side by side rather than top and bottom. Thanks for any help
