oneobserver Posted January 22, 2019 Report Share Posted January 22, 2019 I did my first soft mod about 4 years ago and have successfully done 3 so far, but was never very satisfied with the results, as it felt like I was not getting full potential out of them. I bricked a couple fiddling with the setup, so backed away for a bit. I have a stack of various versions and hard drives to upgrade with that are just waiting to be done now, and I look forward to to finding some tips here on best methods going forward. You probably just fucked up the file setup on the HDD so now the softmod or the dashboard can't boot. In this case the Xbox itself is fine and easily salvageable. It's just the HDD that's messed up.
