Hi, What's the best softmod to use in 2018, I have Need for Speed Carbon and Swat Global Strike Team. I am also able to solder, so setting up a usb port is a possibility. Just want to use the most flexible method, most reliable. Thanks for your infos. M.

Hello all. I am the proud owner of a v1 OG Xbox. I picked it up at a thrift store a couple weeks ago for $23 CDN taxes in. Didn't come with any accessories or cables but those were easy to find. I had never owned an Xbox previously so everything was all brand new to me. I managed to soft mod it the next day, but wanted more so upgraded to 40gb IDE that I had laying around but wanted more, TSOP'd it and upgraded the HD to a 200gb IDE. Fixed up a crystal S controller as the cord had a break it in. Added a white LED in it just because i thought it looked cooler. Glad to have found this great site. I'll lurk around and chime in from time to time.

Hi. Recently bought an OG Xbox running CoinOps 8 premium/massive/ninja and UnleashX. I've FTP'd Time Splitters 2 to f:/games/Time Splitters 2 and refreshed 'Games' in Unleash X. Game is seen and works fine. What I can't figure out is how to add a shortcut pointing to the default.xbe file to make the game show up in the CoinOps front end under Console Systems/Xbox. I have the shortcut maker and I've read loads of tuts and forum posts but I'm completely confused now. Any help greatly appreciated. Cheers!

Noob OG Xbox guy here, i have had a couple of xboxes laying around for a while now, even got one all stripped down but have very little knowledge of what I am doing so looking at picking the forums clear of information on best ways to utilise my 2 black and 1 crystal. Big thanks in advance for all the information i will take from this forum.

I've FTP'd the Xbox4Gamers file to my F drive, but i'm not sure how to link it to XBMC. thanks.
