[Softmodded and upgraded the HDD on my first ever xbox.. now what?]

I've softmodded my first xbox and I upgraded the HDD and I've heard about the wonders of Emulators, Homebrew ect ect, now I'm wondering where do I download emulators lets say for the N64 or Sega Genesis? All help is appreciated. 

[Softmodding uninstall fail]

I apologize if this topic is already been talked about but anyways I was downloading some dashboard files during a softmod dashboard uninstall then the powers got cut and now it's throwing up a error 13 or 14. I've heard Hexen can be used to fix this but I'm not sure.

[Dead Hhd]

Hello, I am new to this site and I have this 1.0 version xbox and it used to work fine and it wasn't modded in any way shape or form. Now there is a clicking noose coming from the HHD and I'm assuming it's dead or dying as I keep getting the error 07. Is there anyway to fix this without modding the console? All help is appreciated!
