[Thomson Drives Need to be hit to open :-)]

Hi Guys;

Thomson drives at it again! I have a bunch of Thomson's drives which surprisingly work but they all need to be hit on the top of the dvd cover for them to open. I have opened them up and cleaned them and re-oiled the rails, as well as cleaned the belt etc. Does anyone know a fix for this issue?

[Softmod XBOX unlocked hard drive error 5]

Hi Guys;

I have picked up a faulty XBOX over the weekend which has an error 5 code. I removed the drive and connected to my PC with FatXplorer and I am able to view the contents of the drive. Which means obviously it is unlocked. Is there any way I can lock the hard drive and re-install it in the XBOX?

What options do I have?

I am trying to clone a drive using HDD Raw copy and getting very slow speeds 50 MB/s

Both a drives a WD Black 7200rpm. I have connected directly into my motherbaords sata 3 ports. I have tested the drives and get speeds above 100. Is this software limitation? If so is there any alternative?

So my xbox was previously tsoped with EVOX, I used the hexen 2021 disc with no issues. 

Xbox model: 1.1

Generic Sata adapter with 80 pin cable. 

Tool used to flash: Geetox (OG Xbox launcher disc 1.5.4) 

BIOS: 2.02R UDMA5

Hi;

So I tried to flash my tsop xbox 1.1 using the latest 2.02r UDMA5 version on a 3tb WD black. My XBOX was previously running EvoX after it finished flash the xbox led now flashes red and green.

 

Could someone please assist.

[Dvd Drive Grinding Noise]

My DVD drive in my 1.5 xbox opens and closes no problem, but when i put a disc in to try and load i hear a loud grinding noise and the disc does not load. Does anyone know what i will need to do to repair this?

i would like to flash a 1mb bios to my 1.1 xbox. I downloaded truhexen disc and it only allows the option for xecuter modchips. 

The modchip i have is unknown. Could someone please assist?
