Wow, nice find! Also, thanks for all the content you've been putting out lately. The YouTube stuff is great. Please, keep it up!
Thank you! I sincerely appreciate your support!!
I have some more stuff coming up, including a video with a different X3 chip that wasn't CIB when I bought it

If you have a disc drive, try to boot to hexen or the OG flasher. You should be able to rebuild the dash over FTP then.
I really recommend a fresh format. And build from either scratch or Hazeno's pre-built pack. You may be able to get by with building your dash correctly and making sure your ini file is correct.

CCI should be made only from full disk dump: DVD5 or DVD9. Is the reason why CCI is better, it retains original dvd5 or dvd9 formatting.
A trim + scrubbed CCI from a full DD, and a trim + scrubbed CCI from the method I shared have identical SHA-256 sums.
Once you trim the ISO with Repackinator the video partition is gone, as it it considered a part of the "unnecessary" data. The sector information is maintained for any sector that contains data.
Assuming you follow the tutorial, an XISO or CCI made this way is identical in every way to a redump. Check the hashes for yourself.
Dvd CCI = Redump CCI
Dvd XISO = Redump XISO
Dvd ISO =/= Redump ISO (video partition)

I found that if you rip your disc with DVD2Xbox using the ISO ripper mode, the dump can be used with Repackinator. There are a few steps in the middle but it works great!
Technically, you can create any kind of file you like once it is in a format Repackinator will accept. Just keep in mind that scrubbed CCI is the smallest file we can get that still known to work with title updates, DLC, and Insignia.

I think XISO will not bypass the bug, because data will still be read at the speeds greater than DVD drive, which causes this bug.
Not XISO... ISO

Does anyone happen to have a save from before either bug? I am curious if loading from ISO will correct the issue, and I don't have a save of my own.

Indeed. I was part of that 250 they posted about. Online now, gamertag "Bowlsnapper."... and getting my ass HANDED to me in CounterStrike.
I'm a happy panda.
I can add friends in the game, but not in the dash. That a known issue?
Hell yeah! I'm glad you're in!!!
There are known issues for friends, but i can't recall the details. If I see anything I will let you know.

I managed to run through the setup and get an account up and running on this box no worries but when I go into a game it tells me the console cannot connect.
Anyone got any ideas??
@Natetronndid a really good explanation of what is needed. If it is not here, I know he posted it on their discord server. If I find it later I will share the link!
Edit: what bios are you using?

Can you access the games on the new HDD with file explorer?

Calipers... aren't there like, 3d scanners? That's money, though. Calipers are cheap.
Eject issue? Adapter goes on the yellow molex cable?
Yeah, I have calipers already and only really need the dementions of the post holes and can then remix one of the free files already out there. I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel lol.
Yes to the adapter on the molex. Technically this kit is designed to relocate your HDD over the mobo to allow fans to be installed over the PSU. Thats cool and all, but 32tb of storage is cooler. (It may, in fact, be hotter once im done
)

Hopefully it kicks off a renaissance in using the OG as a media player; I managed to watch a few downscaled blu-rays after carefully tweaking their encoding but it was kind of a headache. Great picture and sound quality though. If someone could make the process of encoding stuff easier, I could see more people using this kind of storage.
If you run the entire unique library of around 1045 games as full ~7gb as full ISO you need a 8-10tb HDD just to hold the OX library. I personally have another 1.2tb of retro roms and emulators in my build. I plan to use the rest of the space as onsite backup for my media server. All my important stuff has a cloud backup, but I can't justify payimg to stire ~5tb of movies and music. I haven't been able to justify purchasing another large storage solution recently and this will be a great option. I have seen others share ffmpeg downscaling solutions that they claim have worked but haven't tried any myself yet.

I picked this one up from Nemisis when I got my last XeniumICE package from him. I haven't asked him yet if he would share the file for the caddy after purchase. I'm probably going to spend some time with Blender and some calipers if he doesn't want to share
.
It also came with an adapter for the DVD drive plug to fix the eject issue on non-Cerbios no-dvd fixes. I don't regret the purchase.

If it is a new HDD, boot to Cerb 2.0.2r and try to connect.

Cerbios 2.0.3r?

There have been quite a few "retro re-shell" projects that I have seen crowd funded in the last year. Have you ever considered trying that route? I know I would back for high quality molded cases.
I mean, the going rate for a OEM blue shell is like $400-$500 right now so I assume there is a market for good replicas.

Wait, what is exactly? IDE drives or using TWO drives?... Or ME? Lol.
old HDDs at high speed. That Maxtor drive noise was noticeable from inside an entertainment cabinet, across the room... the fan is bad enough IMO lol.

This should work.

OpenXenium and LPC 1.6
in Modchips

Clarity
If that corrector is build correctly pin 3 will be lframe (d0). If you then bridge the "1.6" pads on your Xenium, you do not need any wires at all.
Xenium only pulses the signal during boot to force the LPC, then releases the line once no longer needed.
Also, of you want to bypass onboard bios on a 1.6 with a non-Xenium, just jump pin 2 and 3. It will pull lframe to ground on the chip itself without extra wires on the motherboard.
