Well, Xmugen is the only real reason. Xmugen was a thing for me in the past. Kinda big homebrew part im missing on my HDMI Setup.
S-Video works. I can verify that.

Could anyone figure out why HDMI adapters fail to display the Linux loaders here? I mean the pinout from Xbox to HDMI is the same as and componant cable, isnt it? So in theory it should work If it works with componant.
Or is it the video Chip on the wii2hdmi and other HDMI solutions work?

you might see this picture first if im not disapointed (using via Gentoox Loader) it didn't show me a word "FatX"
same never got it working. xmugen is really picky. you cant just share builds and expect it to run on another console.

yep the loader is working fine in 720p (like shallax Gentoox). Everything the loader trys to load ends in a black screen

Hey, did you manage to run gentoox and xmugen with these HDMI mods? I always get a black screen after the gentoox loader menu.
Tried different builds and 720p linux configs. I know linux is picky with HD resolutions and component cable.

just diving into PCB hacks for an arcade build and found an old Big Ben controller. Problem: X-button doesnt work but when i press right trigger x-button is pressed also. cant see any short. could that be a leaking issue or anything else? is it worth the repair?

Yes, it is still a good Deal for others. And it is super cool that this CPU upgrade is a thing again.
It is just a bit too expansive for me for just collecting it.

Thanks for the update and good luck with your service! The price target is too high for me but i guess others are willing to pay that amount of money for their hobby.
Keep in mind that the rarity is a factor for the big intrest if you are planing to sell more.

Well i have my Xbox in an arcade cab and dont want to exchange it with a pi. Would break my heart. Plus the pi is too expansiv. I can get 2-3 Xboxs for that. Not the once your selling of course
i doubt that there is someone whos willing to update the xMugen linux hook for 720p HDMI Output.
