[Can I use the x3CP usb by itself?]

Im trying to not slow down my computer though and would rather something internal so shouldnt the control  panel usb connect to the modchip through a ribbon cable?

I just got back into Xbox modding after about 10 years and I realized i have a few xboxs with dead dvd drives. if I print the USB PCB from the control panel will I be able to plug it into the chips contoll panel port to use it as a way to transfer smaller games without having to plug xbox into pc all the time?
