Hi, is there any news? I have the same problems. I think it has to do with the contrast.

Push a PR. I'll merge it.
i, I have made some me Jafar Chips with the 1MB OSSupport.
Is it possible to use 3 x 256kb Banks for Bios files in Xblast?
Is this a lot of work in the code?

I would to have different Bios for testing, I think nobody needs a 512k bios. I only use M8+ with 256k.
Some with udma 4 and 5, some with titan support or with HD patch.
It's just an idea, but I'm not a coder.
In the lpcmod_v1.h is a part with the bank size, but I have no idea where I need edit it. https://github.com/einsteinx2/lpcmod_os
My goal is 256k(OS) 256k(bios1) 256k(bios2) 256k(bios3)

The Aladdin XBlast conversion of the basic Aladdin XT plus 2 modchip reprograms the CPLD to support a 1MB instead of 256KB flash memory chip. The 1MB flash of the Aladdin XBlast modchip has two user programmable banks: 1 - 256KBs in size and 1 - 512KBs in size You usually program the 1MB flash with an external programmer and a file that has 4 copies of the XBlastOS in a dot bin file. IIRC, the copy of the XBlast OS BIOS stored in the last 256KBs of the flash memory chip is what the CPLD boots when powered on.
IIRC, when the XBlastOS boots, it allows you to select which USER bank to boot.
See psyko_chewbacca's XBlast OS manual for more details:

I think the potentiometer is dirty or defective.
You can desolder the poti and clean the contact surface with IPA.
Or you can replace the complete thumbstick with a new one from aliexpress.
The 360 thumbsticks fit in the Xbox S controller.
If it fits in the duke controller can i not guarantee.

I think this is a good idea, the old one helps me a lot in the past.

Is it possible for the 5 capacitors in front of the CPU to be busted even though they visually look fine? What is their role by the way?
Unfortunately I don't have the proper equipment to test them while on board, the multimeter reads tell me nothingYes this is definitely possible. I have replaced caps with only a small curved on the top.

Did you check the Caps in front of the CPU? I have a xbox with no sign of life, after change the caps it works like a charm.
It is not expansive and a chance.

XBMC & LCD issue
in Hardware Mods
Posted · Edited by Crossfader
Found a solution on the xbox-scene Discord by ModzvilleUSA.
If you use a LCD with SDA and SCL Data.
LCD.XML max of 2 lines per category.
In the xbmc4gamers login menu is another settings sub menu. Disable auto login, restart and go to this menu, set your LCD options and load your profile.
After that auto login can be re enabled and the display works fine.
