Something's gone horribly wrong

I don't know what I did but my softmod Xbox won't display the games or any software for that matter

Well boot to the main menu and my Unleashed X dashboard but as soon as I launch a game I got a blank screen

The photo on the left is my main menu when I launch the game I get the following screen

dashboards requires path for game folder, same for apps, emulators or other.

Have you tried other dashboard?

Everything was working fine I put in the extras disc and I guess it over wrote something

And now I get no video on the games I really don't want to have to start over

Because I no longer have the jailbreak CD I was using

Use this guide to upgrade, if you have important saves, back up E drive files via FTP.

Thanks just backing all Games and Saves ect to my Sever then I'll use the disk ..

UPDATE: I backed up the entire system 

Then proceeded to reinstall the softmod using the disc

Games will not launch from their standard directory neither will programs

 

Here's the kicker just for a lark I put one of the games in the emulator folder and it booted fine

Seems like HDD error.

Emulators from E partition?

You may try to format F partition. Also check it with xbpartitioner.

Look like I'll be starting over ... The 500 Gig IDE Drive needs to be replaced

now need to restore the Xbox to stock ?

Buy one of these:

Then scan IDE drive for bad sectors to make sure. Or if you have old pc, then you can use old pc to scan it.

Anyways, you will need this device, because you will need to lock a new HDD, or use a mod chip.

This device is good investment in the long run.

If you have a modern desktop PC. You could skip USB to HDD adapter to save money for this combo -  IDE to SATA adapter + 2TB CMR!!! sata drive, and of course 80PIN IDE data cable. You will be able to configure new hdd without adapters, directly connected to pc.
