Can't get X-DSL (Linux) to work. WHY, God?

I've placed everything in the proper directories, or at least as instructed. Gentoox hangs on loading initrd24... the first file on the list, so it's not finding it... like it's in the wrong place. Pretty sure paths are correct in linuxconfig.

Your title mentions X-DSL and your post mentions Gentoox, which is it?

I have X-DSL working already with an applications shortcut xbe and boot option for 480 and 720 if you'd like a copy.

The gentoox loader? I thought it used that to boot? Yes, I would like a copy. Thank you.

Oh, right. It can use that, looks like, although the ones I have were using xromwell.

Okay, so I'm up and running with 0.7. I wanted to push the boundaries of this installation. I'm trying to get 3d accelleration to work, but I'm assuming that it isn't set up out of the box for a reason and I'm afraid of fucking things up and ending up with a non-working X server if I start copying and renaming extensions for xfree86. Tried to install rollercoaster tycoon in wine, installed fine, but obviously failed to init d3d and open gl, due to lack of acceleration. Has anybody done this successfully? If I set up acceleration the way it's normally done in DSL will I break my installation? Also, is there a way to install a browser that supports html5? Can't do much with the firefox included... Maybe I should wait for Alpine Linux to get better...
