Prehistoricman
Have you tried that BIOS with a modchip before? Did you use the EvoX dashboard to flash the TSOP or something else?
Gary The Brown
Are you using an 80 pin IDE cable and the Startech Adaptor?

Xbox model: 1.1 Generic Sata adapter with 80 pin cable. Tool used to flash: Geetox (OG Xbox launcher disc 1.5.4) BIOS: 2.02R UDMA5
sweetdarkdestiny
The UDMA5 version is basicly fpr StarTech adapters only. So you have two options, get a StarTech adapter and hope that was the problem or get a modchip. (Option three: Desolder the TSOP and flash it with a external flasher) And a little quote of the read me ... Quote Retail UDMA5 & Debug UDMA5 Use At Own Risk, A few IDE To Sata Adapters Do Not Support Higher Transfer Speeds, This Is Experimental. DO NOT FLASH UNLESS YOU HAVE A WAY TO RECOVER, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!! Edited September 1, 2022 by sweetdarkdestiny

If he used Gentoox Loader to flash CerBIOS's 256KB dot bin file to his 1MB flash, it did not resize / write 4 copies of it to fill the entire 1MBs of the memory chip. llamma.com's Coma console fix should do the trick without having to unsolder the chip from the motherboard. This FIX grounds address lines A19 and A18 of the TSOP which forces access to only the first 256KBs of the flash. Really 2 long wires need to be solder to A19 and A18 that can be grounded to boot the console then disconnected from ground to reflash the 1MB TSOP using either Evoxdash or XBlastOS which both write 4 copies consecutively of the BIOS's 256KB dot bin file to fill it. 2
