franz123
So I got my new old xbox yesterday and still have no games for it but somewhere read that it can play audio cd s so I inserted a disc and listened. I accidentally pressed Y and X in a short space of time and it zoomed in that little animation so it was covering entire screen. I did it on my 1.1 xbox so idk if it works on other xboxes (probably yes).
HDShadow
Its a feature of the MS dash Music/CD player, not a trick. What I don't remember is there being any information in the instructions that came with the Xbox about making the abstract animations full screen. So it may be something that can be considered hidden by omission, perhaps. Whatever the case the method of enabling full screen is not intuitive and with most of the controllers I've used it is unreliable requiring a very quick (Y) and then (X) input. The DVD Remote controller, which MS probably intended you to be using for such purposes, makes it much easier: you just press the INFO button and press it again to reduce it back. KaosEngineer
There are more hidden Easter Eggs in the original Xbox's dashboard. See all of the currently known ones here: https://xboxdevwiki.net/Dashboard I never did get any of the Format Admin codes to work on any Xbox. There may not actually be such a thing. Or, there are millions of different combos making it unique for each Xbox.
