sweetdarkdestiny
The title basicly already say's it all. I wonder if it would be possible to piggy back a second TSOP to the one of the MB (Except for Vcc and Enable). Then lift the Vcc pins (TSOP 1 & 2) and Enable pins (TSOP 1 &2) which then goes to the switch. Highly professional made schematics : https://imgur.com/a/WguB3ZR I have googled it but how it seems no ever had that stupid idea. Or at least I didn't found anything. Gary The Brown
Its not been looked at because the modchips do just that with easier soldering. plus if you have the 1MB TOSP you can just do the switches to get 4 banks to switch between. sweetdarkdestiny
Soldering isn't the problem. And yeah I know about TSOP splitting. How ever, I have some spare 256kb TSOP's here that's way I thought about that option which costs me nothing. And it would be also fun to do it if it would work. Prehistoricman
You like stacking too huh? Why not just switch the output enable pin?
Mu.
It's absolutely possible, there should be a chip select or output enable pin on the package that'll let you choose between the two with (I imagine) the rest of the pins connected together.

I love to stack money but who not. 8 hours ago, Prehistoricman said: Why not just switch the output enable pin? I will give that a try. 7 hours ago, Mu. said: It's absolutely possible, there should be a chip select or output enable pin on the package that'll let you choose between the two with (I imagine) the rest of the pins connected together. Pin 32 is output enable. Will try that and report backhow I ended up.
