Unable to flash 1.4 TSOP

Hi all.   Soldered the points required.  Ran Bios Checker v5, saw the Winbond.  Using Resctoox to flash the bios, when it locked up.  It locked up before I even saw the bar.  My Xbox will boot, but now the Bios Checker says unknown mod chip ect.  I pulled the board as I thought maybe my solder skills weren't what I thought they were.  I was able to check continuity on both sides of the and got tone from both sets.

Any thoughts at all?  This box is softmodded.  Ready to pull my hair out.  Thanks for any input

Did you chose the correct size BIOS and was it in the correct location and named correctly?

It is recommended that you use a genuine MS controller ie. Controller-S or Duke and do not touch any of the buttons etc during the flashing process.

What I can not explain is why BIOSChecker is now reporting like that - if the flash had worked or not if the TSOP points are correctly  connected it should be still reporting the Winbond TSOP.

I did choose the correct size and it was in c:\bios named bios.bin

I am using an authentic S-controller.

I just don't know what to do at this point, it's driving me crazy.  It was a short trip already.

I do appreciate the input.  It's such a weird one.

Since you posted and let me know I wasn't crazy, I decided to install an OpenXenium and go that route.  I get everything soldered up, and think take another look.  Long story short, I resoldered one point and now Bios Checker is reporting correctly.  I need to remove the pins I soldered for the Xenium.  I am thinking about leaving them since they're cheap.

I had continuity, but maybe there was some flex in the board, or something stupid like that.  I don't know, it's just a weird one.  Thank you again HDShadow.  It is much appreciated.
