Guilty
Hey, quick question, anyone know why my TSOP'd xbox crashes on soft-reset? It's got a 2TB hard drive and it's on Evolution X bios booting into XBMC (as the dashboard). Is it because of my hard drive or my bios or something? EDIT: It's a Winbond chip btw. I just attempted to flash it using InD Bios and the problem is solved, but these are both outdated I think? I'll try again with the 2017 HeXEn disc when I can . OGXbox Admin
I think the old evox bioses were hard coded with the xbe to reboot into and it did not necessarily match the boot dash. Chances are, it's looking for a dash name that does not exist. Unless your tsop is only 256k, I'd recommend going with x2 5035. It should alleviate that issue. MrMajst3r
There is a problem with reset on some SATA adaptors and Evox M8/M8+ bioses. The only solution I found is to change bios or change SATA adaptor.
