datura
I'm looking for a video released by Team Xecuter sometime in the early 2000s made to promote the durability of their solderless adapter, the Xapt3r. The video shows a couple guys throwing an Xbox with an Xapt3r installed down a flight of stairs, followed by them immediately powering the console on to see that it still functions perfectly. I'm trying to track this video down for archival purposes, and I remember seeing it relatively recently although I was not able to find it again. Many thanks. KaosEngineer
I believe that was for Team Xodus' Xenium SP.I.C.E. solderless adapter, not Team Xecuter's Xapt3r. I have a copy of it somewhere. Where's the big question. So many old hard drives and USB sticks it may be saved on.
KaosEngineer
Found it! Edit: Hmm, for some reason, the attached file was not accessible after uploading it. I've added a link so you can download a copy of it from archive.org's Wayback Machine: https://web.archive.org/web/20051212152221/http://www.teamxodus.com/XOS/spice.wmv
1.21jiggawatts
2003 or so i got the Chameleon Solderless chip. This thing was AWESOME, didnt have to do anything except get the copper wire into the correct hole and screw it down. BAM. Its still easier then the new executor chips.
