You will first configure it connected to a PC then re-connect it to the Xbox.

Considering it mentions about soldering, will this do or what do you recommend? (I'm new to soldering)

If you want to solder it in your xbox (which is not needed, the VAP11N works extern as well) , do your self a favor and buy a "propper" soldering iron. Even you didn't solder much you will have way more fun and options. Check amazon or ebay etc. for a TS100 or the Pinecil (~ 40% cheaper ($35 US but almost the same)  which I would recomend if you are in the US.

  • Rosin Core lead solder 60/40 ( I use Stanol) .
