If you can set your iron to 330-350c with a max of 375c Use leaded solder as the lead free needs more heat to melt, Flux is you friend when soldering. Work in a well lit location and take your time. This is a pic of a rebuild I did on a 1 day old Xbox I normally cut the LFrame trace and not worry about the D0 The only need for the D0 was to get on Xbox Live. I also link the BT on the chip to pin 2 Ground When fitting Aladdin chip in a version 1.6 the led on the chip will be on all the time as the 5 volt supply is not switched. You can opt to not have the led by not fitting the pin to pin 6 of the LPC or make a mod to the mod chip like this. This will make the led switch on and off with the power. If you are not 100% sure post some pics of your work before powering it up Cheers SS Dave Soft modding is like masturbating, It gets the job done but it's nothing like the real thing.
Oreos420
Is that all 16 pinholes used in your pick? I believe the chip came with a 12 pin pim header.

You only need the 1st 12 pins (closest to the front of the min board) for an Aladdin chip and 14 pins for a Open Xenium or X3 chip.
