Shadow07
I’m in the process of building a few OpenXeniums myself and I haven’t quite hashed out a game plan for programming the CPLD. I don’t have a Xilink or JTAG programmer of any kind but I do have a raspberry pi. The most clear instruction I’ve found for using the pi is here. I like that using this method I can supposedly flash xeniumOS at the same time so I won’t have to hotswap. Has anyone else tried this or is able offer any guidance for using the pi? SS_Dave
This may be of interest as well. Cheers SS Dave Soft modding is like masturbating, It gets the job done but it's nothing like the real thing.

I was just hoping to find a way to flash XeniumOS via hardware too while I was at it, but plan to go this way if I can’t turn anything up. KaosEngineer
If you have another modchip to boot the Xbox, you can flash the BIOS with @Ryzee119's xeniumtools Xbox app. First, use the RS232R to program the OpenXenium's CPLD. Next, boot the Xbox with a working modchip so you can run xeniumtools.xbe. Hotswap the OpenXenium with the booting modchip and run xeniumtools.xbe to flash the XeniumOS v2.3.1 recovery.bin file to the OpenXenium modchip. OpenXenium Release files: https://github.com/Ryzee119/OpenXenium/releases Edit: Releases v1.2's Xbox app to program the recovery.bin file to the OpenXenium modchip was named xenium-tools.xbe. Now, V1.3 has changed the name to xeniumtools.xbe. Content above edited to reflect the name change.
