AtariSoul
Hello All I found the above site recently after dusting off my XBOX as I couldn't remember for the life of me how to get to the x3 BIOS. I've checked today and its the dreaded "404 page not found" Did anyone cache this site or is there an alternative here? Thanks in advance
feudalnate
If you're booting from a bank area that has an official X3 BIOS written to it then you can hold the white button on a controller during the boot animation and it will bring you to the X3 Config LIVE menu Here is a scrape of the user guide site. Most of the pages should be cached on archive.org as well
KaosEngineer
Yes, I think I saved all of the pages hosted on x3.bustedchain.com. I edited the <a href="http://x3.bustedchain.com/<???>.html"></a> links so they will access content in the offline files instead of trying to go to the old online web pages. Remote site URLs, those outside of x3.bustedchain.com, have not been edited to access the files locally. Those links will go to the remote site. Many of them are offline or incorrect (e.g., www.teamxecuter.com is now www.team-xecuter.com for the site name). It's not stored in the most compact format since there are dups of images if it was used across several of the web pages. i've attached the rar archive below. Extract the content then open the index.html file: Edit: After looking at @feudalnate's scrape, I had not saved all the pages. credits.html, eepromtools, html, glossary.html, hardwareinfo.html, resources.html, and skins.html. Damn I missed a lot. I removed the attachment. Use @feudalnate's scrape instead.
AtariSoul
Ok thanks, I had it bookmarked for ages, if only I'd scraped it sooner. I'll check out what you've suggested. Yes I remembered it was the white button, but being too impatient, then I thought...maybe I should wait for the flubber into to finish and there it was!!! Thanks much appreciated
AtariSoul
Just wanted to say THANK YOU once again. I've been going through these scrape and its probably 10 years since I last looked at this stuff, especially the memory banks and BIOS flash as I just couldn't remember what the LED buttons bank switches need to be set.
