Just a theoretical pondering as I could not find any info on it.

I know you can null a HDD key on a soft mod’d xbox so I was wondering if it was possible to null and lock a hdd using a tsopd xbox then transfer it into the soft mod’d xbox?

Cheers :)

Yes and No

I would be possible to set up a hard drive on a hard modded Xbox(TSOP flashed, Modchipped) but it's not as simple a locking the hard drive

The Hard drive need the softmod boot files in order to boot the Dash of you choice or set up the drive as a stock drive with the M$ dash

A lot of softmods don't play nice with hard modded Xbox so it's either a softmod or a hardmod.

In my opinion just fit a modchip use a install disk to set up the drive the connect the HDD to a PC and copy all your game's over with FATXplorer.

Cheers

Soft modding is like masturbating, It gets the job done but it's nothing like the real thing.

Cheers Dave.

I figured it would not be as easy as it should be.

As I am learning I am finding that seems to be the case with the consoles lol
