No Audio or Video

So I just installed a Aladdin xt chip today and powered on, no audio or video. Light on chip is on and light on eject button starts green and goes to green/red flashing. I cleaned it with alcohol and still nothing. Anyone know what the issue could be.

I would suggest the soldering is not up to scratch or you have a solder blob .

Best to post a pic and then we can see what may be wrong.

What is the red wire under the mod chip?

and  I can not see  D0 connection.

The connections on the LPC rebuild don't look the best either

The long red wire is so the led on the chip powers on and off with the power button, instead of staying on continuously. The video I watched for reference was by retro pro frank, to give you a idea of what I did.

I have a new one coming tomorrow. The one I'm currently using worked prior to the chip installation. And it was amazon new.

I think my way is a ship load neater 

This is how I prep all Aladdin chips for any Xbox version

Cut the trace under the yellow line and add a link like the green line.

The Aladdin chip is the most reliable out the there and the only time I see problems are install or bad flash both from the owner.

The same as running a wire so the led is power on and off with the Xbox power.

So get rid of the long red wire all together? And yes the pins are not soldered I went based off the rebuild board he used in the video. But I will get them soldered

I normal cut the Lframe trace and don't worry about connecting the LFRAME to modchip like in the yellow box

I just put a new rebuild chip in and cut the trace. Still the same issue. I tried to run without the Aladdin xt chip and other scenarios all with the same results. It seem like it attempts to run 3x then starts flashing red and green.

The only pins I remove is pin 4 on a 14 pin header (12 pin non Open Xeniums) and pin 4 and 6 on a version 1.6 board.

I also don't bother with the LPC port rebuild board and use to chuck them out and I have never seen any 1/2 decinet electronics maker join two PCBs that way. When the DuoX2 chip was released it came with them and I would get 1 a month to fix because of that small board.

That pic is for a 1.0 -1.4 the 1.6 he has should have pin 6(5volt) removed as well.

I'm pretty sure this thing fraged some during the installation. Is it true that replacing the capacitors will fix this? If so can anyone send a like for the best place to purchase. It tries to load 3x then flashes red/green.

Was the Xbox fragging before you started, I would have thought the frag will be to do with the lpc rebuild? You just need an electronics supplier for replacement caps, it depends where in the world you are, online there's Digikey, farnell, cpc farnell and a load more.
