iDesTroY
Hey there, I have a chipped 1.6 and I'm using it on my LG 4K TV via component cable, I'm experiencing image drop out (see the video below). I've tried 3 different sets of cables, I've changed the Xbox to NTSC to enable HD video mode. Is there anything you people can recommend for me to try? I'm willing to try anything just so I can get this issue resolved. Thanks! Video link:
SS_Dave
I would be replacing the capacitors near the CPU heat sink and power connector You will probably find the tops of them are starting to bulge and or leak like the ones in the pic Cheers SS Dave Soft modding is like masturbating, It gets the job done but it's nothing like the real thing. SS_Dave
Are the Av leads a good quality lead as cheap av leads from china/Ebay can also give problems Can you test it with a composite lead and is it just the one game ? KaosEngineer
Are you using component AV cables or an Xbox AVIP to HDMI adapter? Which particular cable/adapter are you using?
iDesTroY
To answer both of your questions, I'm using modified official X360 component cables
SS_Dave
Have you had a good look at the power supply cap's? Is it just some games or all of them?
