prtscn
I have only 1 sata adapter and want to upgrade to 1TB. I have usb adapter, and i could connect my old 2.5" hdd to my laptop and use hirens CD to clone HDD. I think it would work, it would copy all sectors, but what about formatting? SS_Dave
Have a look at HDD raw copy tool ,I know it can make a image of a Xbox hard drive. Why are you cloning? Cheers SS Dave Soft modding is like masturbating, It gets the job done but it's nothing like the real thing.

SS_Dave
Any cloning is making a 1 to 1 copy I would use FATXplorer to save the contents of F drive to a temp storage (USB HDD) then fit the 1tb and use a install DVD to setup the new drive, Once that's done then use FATXplorer to copy the games back to the new drive. What Dash are you using on the Xbox? Cheers SS Dave Soft modding is like masturbating, It gets the job done but it's nothing like the real thing. bez84
Use HDD raw copy tool, then find something to expand or create a new partition on the drive to use the additional space. This can be one from the xbox depending on what dashboard you are using.
bez84
Or buy another sata adapter and a Ide power cable splitter. That way it can all be done from the xbox... Ive used this method and the total cost of those parts was $7 on ebay so not a big expense.
