donnydarko
I still have the first modded box i bought from 15 years ago that got me into soft modding. Did these require a game save exploit to install unleash?
SS_Dave
I would say yes It is possible to softmod a Xbox using a PC and hot swapping the hard drive hot swapping is unplugging the IDE cable from the hard drive and connecting to a pc without powering down the Xbox. Cheers SS Dave Soft modding is like masturbating, It gets the job done but it's nothing like the real thing.

KaosEngineer
If there's a modchip installed, the console is hard modded, not soft modded. What's the problem with FTP? The PC and Xbox have to have an IP address on the same subnet for them to communicate with each other. How are the PC and Xbox networked together? SS_Dave
As a rule you should not add any files to the C drive use E,F,G Drive for storage The dash is not looking for add on files on C drive. If not 1st you will need to edit config.xml. There are a few YouTube videos showing how to edit unleashx config.xml. If you use xbmc you only need to set a path to emulators in programs.
