Question About Unlocking Hdd

i have 2 or 3 dead xbox's and i want to see what is on the hdd's.  is there anyway to unlock them with another chipped system?

Not unless you have the HDD Key from the Xbox the drive was originally fitted in.

The WD hard drive that was used in the Xbox has a master password but to unlock with the master password the drive gets wiped.

 

I always Unlock the stock drive as soon as I have flashed the TSOP

How dead are they, you may be able to get the hdd key with an eeprom reader?
