Hi, I've seen some time ago that it is possible to run multiplayer only games by "fooling" them that Xbox live is running. I remember some topic about that on this forum but can't find it. It was about some game and playing it on empty server. Anyone could point it to me? Thanks.

Not aware of any such restriction. They have a discord that mentions that it will work on non modded xbox's, but only if you can extract system/hard drive keys from it first. I think the only restriction is that it cant use unlocked harddrive's / zero'd keys because this is an identification method (and everyone would have the same key).

For Insignia, there are no restrictions on modded consoles, in fact, having a modded console will make joining easier. The one thing you shouldn't do is null your HDD key, because that will prevent you from joining. But any non-null HDD key will probably work. Then you need to provide your EEPROM (or the keys from it) so that your Xbox can be added to the database, otherwise encryption between Insignia and Xbox won't work.
