Aladdinlcd

Between Modchips and Hardware Mods sections, I post here.

I'm planning someday to TSOP one of my XBOX, and I did see the AladdinLCD project by Ryzee119. I was thinking about fitting one of this in place of the currently installed modchip.

On Aliexpress I can't find a single one, nothing.. I can find some on eBay for 10€ and they are like this:

 

Are they good for this project? Seems very similar to the one shown in Ryzee911's github

Anybody of you have had chance to try this mod, and can tell something about it?

Yes it will work.

I did the same type of mod that used the same code in the Lattice chip but the Chip was mounted in  the back of the LCD

The PCB was from a Facebook member.

Hi dear,

 

That's great. I'll order one of that chips in the next days, without much hurry.

 

That PCB for the LCD display seems a better solution, optimal I'd say. Bu I think it'll be a lesser hassle to get an aladdin modchip and mod it. (based on the fact that I'm in EU land, and don't know where and how much they'll cost to me delivered. I think a lot more).
