Viggen66
Dear All, I notice CoinOps Premium Ninja, which is based on XBMC, when on menus picking up a game, the fan is simply disabled, for members who are expert on XBMC, do you know where you can disable that feature of disabling the fan? jhark
Hi, I know what your talking about, I use unleashx dash with fans set at 2x for better cooling, then when you run Ninja the fan speed goes to normal, Not off it just seems like it because your xbox gets quieter. jhark
I guess the real question is....Can XBMC control the xbox fan speed. Then you could make it match your dashboard speed. I do not know the answer...
Viggen66
jhark, Already found the solution to this, there's a file on Userdata\guisettings.xml <system> <autotemperature>true</autotemperature> change that value to false, and your fan runs at the settings of the bios you have also I can upload the file to replace Problem solved guisettings.xml Edited March 20, 2020 by Viggen66

I believe you have to edit it by hand. Download the file, make the change, upload the updated file and restart the app. You may be able to adjust the setting from the settings menu. Now, just how do you get to that menu?
