SS_Dave
You need a program to flash the X Bit chip via USB and from what I have read windows XP is the latest OS you can use and an virtual machine running XP won't work. Pull the Xbit and fit an Open Xenium or a Aladdin or if the board is a version 1.0 to 1.4 flash the TSOP. Cheers SS Dave Those that can Hard-Mod. Those that can't Soft-Mod. KaosEngineer
You can't flash a X-B.I.T. with the Xbox. You have to use the correct version of the X-B.I.T. dev team's flashing program for your modchip with a USB cable connected to the external bank select switch panel/USB port PCB. I believe it's either a 1.0 or a 1.5 version. The apps don't work across both versions of the modchip. I've never actually seen one of these modchips in real-life. I've only read about them in old web pages archived by the Wayback Machine.
