SS_Dave Posted November 29, 2019 Report Share Posted November 29, 2019 If you are tying to keep the contents of the drive then no unless you can get the Hard Drive Key from the old mother board's eeprom. It may have some default unlock key depending on what software it was locked with some hard drives have a master unlock key and will wipe the drive in the process of unlocking it. That is 1 of the reasons I am a advocate for Hard-Mod's and not locking the hard disk. SS Dave Those that can Hard-Mod. You may try XBOXHDM on your computer. KaosEngineer Posted November 30, 2019 Report Share Posted November 30, 2019 Possibly locked with ConfigMagic on the Xbox; thus, the master password has been set to TEAMASSEMBLY. Use Chimp 261812 to unlock it. Start Chimp and swap the DVD IDE connector to the 640GB HDD as you would if cloning. Use the SLAVE options to Unlock the drive using TEAMASSEMBLY as the password.
