Instead I picked up a 1.6 crystal xbox how do I go about dual booting this with ms bios and Aladdin chip? No you just fit the chip with the D0 wire from the main board going to the chip and the BT point on the chip to the power button don't worry about the L1 point and if you upgrade the HDD don't forget to lock it Did you know you can still use the MS dash with a mod-chip active (without using the MS BIOS) Cheers SS Dave Those that can Hard-Mod. Hello Halo_2 The clock cap that's in the version 1.6 and some 1.4 is a better quality but they are stating to fail. If you see any sign of bulging or leakage then you need to replace it as the Version 1.6 will not boot with out it and at $2 to $10 depending where your located properly worth replacing anyway.
