Hi all,

I’ve just noticed that the blue leds are not lighting up on my X3 control panel bios bank switch buttons. They should light up blue when pressed in (on). Anyone come across this before? Know how I can fix it??

Ill take it apart and see if theres a lose cable cable or similar but that won’t be for a few days....

its possible it could be a broken solder connection for the switch itself. you are talking about the pro switch right? I myself have one, and have noticed flickering sometimes when pressing buttons. X3 bios even flickers bios banks sometimes doing the same thing....thats the only thing i can assume, because i just rebuilt my x3 pro switch cable.

Ok thanks for that, I’m honoured and will make sure I tell my grandchildren this story on my deathbed.

ON TOPIC:  I had removed the front plate to install a power led mod so I checked all the wiring. I couldn’t see any cracks in the solder joints or breaks in the wires so I just put it all back together again and hey presto it worked!! Fuck knows what caused it to not work but it’s fixed now 😃

That can be a problem with some of the connectors in use today as I am sure that some of the connectors are only ment to be connected once and never disconected and reconectd again.

Then you get some company's that also glue the connectors together with anti tamper paint to really pissoff the tech working on the device.
